Made in 36 hours for GMTK Game Jam 2021! You are a pair of birds with a very bouncy ribbon, trying to fling an egg over a net. Your friend is also a pair of birds with a very bouncy ribbon on the opposite side of the net. Don't let it drop on your side of the court!
Two gamepads required in order to play.

I fell in love with this game at Magfest this past year, I just could not stop playing! I am dying to have a way to play remotely with friends.
I am interested in building a networked online version to allow remote play, and potentially adding the team vs team option as well.
This would be a purely hobby/learning project, and all accreditation would be given. Would it be possible for me to get your permission, and the source code, to facilitate this project?

I guess I have bad news and good news for you. The bad news is that I’m not able to share the source code for the game. The good news is that that’s because I’m currently working on polishing a PC (and Mac and Linux) version of what you played Magfest to release as a demo on Itch! It’ll have the team vs. team modes (including the “friendship” split controller mode) and the full (for now) roster of eight birds.
After that, I’d like to get a Steam demo + full release done, but no promises on when that’ll be. I am potentially looking at adding networking, but at minimum the Steam version will support Remote Play Together.

when is this game coming on switch pleaseeee
We would absolutely love to get this game on Switch, but it’ll unfortunately be a long road before we get there. The next step will likely be a demo on Itch and then on Steam, followed by a full Steam release. If that does well enough we will definitely look into a Switch release, as we think it would play really well on that console!
